How To Get White Teeth At Home

To me the best way to start my day is to grab a hot cup of joe and head outside to smoke my first cigarette of the day.  True,  some people would not agree, some may even consider that wrong but from my point of view, that is the perfect way to start the day.

Most unfortunately though,  after many years of reliving my morning ritual my teeth began to see the effects.  It was not an overnight thing which is why I probably did not realize it sooner that my teeth were coffee stained and nicotine stained.

I figured I had a few different options to choose from to get the nicotine stains and coffee stains off of my teeth.  My first thought was the obvious one, quite drinking coffee and smoking.  Well not really.  I figured I would go to the dentist.  Isn’t that what they are there for?

The thing is,  if I got my teeth whitened at the dentist’s office it would cost me about $500.  $500!! Seriously?  You should have seen my jaw hit the floor.  Not only did I not have that kind of money to spend on getting my teeth whitened but if I did have $500 lying about, I could think of a lot of other things I would spend it on.

So, What Methods Did I Try To Get White Teeth At Home?

Well that was not the way to go so the next thing I figured I would do was to go to Walmart and get some at home whitening strips.  You know the kind,  they are clear and wrap around your teeth so no one will realize that they are there. This part is kind of funny actually,  it turns out that I have very sensitive teeth.

Well, I didn’t have sensitive teeth before I used the strips but they got really sensitive while I was using the strips.

I don’t know how you feel about the situation but getting white teeth was just not worth jumping out of my skin every time I was thirsty.

I gave the whitening rinses and whitening toothpastes a try to no avail.  I even made a baking soda and peroxide paste.  Now,  I am not saying that none of those things will work.  What I am saying is that I am simply not that patient.  I don’t want to wait a year to get rid of nicotine stains on my teeth.  I want lickity split right now teeth whitening.

Going through the wonderful world of process of elimination,  I found that I had not found anything to get white teeth.

What was my next plan of action?

So I found a paste to make with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. You mix the baking soda and peroxide together to make a paste like substance and then brush your teeth with it, then let it sit on your teeth for two minutes.

Sounds easy enough. So I start brushing my teeth and man alive this stuff tastes horrible but it’s only for two minutes, I can do that. What I wasn’t expecting was that it was going to burn, severely!

No where did I read that it was going to be a painful experience. I’m was feeling a little disgruntled but I did finally find an awesome teeth whitener.

Something That Actually Removed The Stains From My Teeth!
